The Trade Marketing department was formed to provide
marketing, promotions, advertisement and communications support to the different departments under the umbrella of the Consumer Products Division.
This department operates as the major decision-making body that implements product planning, price setting, product enhancement and development, advertising and promotional activities, and the management of distribution channels. Its primary goal is to create and develop strategies, ideas and methods on how to promote and market products; thus playing a critical role in the success and development of new and existing product lines.
In addition to providing marketing support, the department conducts market research and compiles consumer data to enable specific, target-related marketing activities. The department also ensures that product image and branding are managed and maintained to ensure instant product recognition by consumers.
